One of the joys of maintaining a wine blog is that you never quite know where your words will travel.
This week, WordPress informed me that ‘Wineglitz India’ has unlocked a rather commendable achievement: visitors from more than 150 countries have viewed the website.
And this certainly brought a smile to my face.

When I started Wineglitz India, the idea was simple—to share stories about wine, vineyards, châteaux, grape varieties, wine travel and the fascinating people behind the world of wine. What I did not anticipate was that these stories would eventually find readers across so many corners of the globe.
For a niche wine blog based in India, it is both humbling and gratifying to know that articles written from my home in Delhi are being read by wine lovers, travellers and curious readers from countries far and wide.

WordPress also informed me that I had previously crossed the milestone of readers from 50+ countries, and even awarded me a badge for publishing a post unusually quickly.
While these digital badges are largely symbolic, they do serve as a reminder of the remarkable reach of the internet. A story about Bordeaux, Rioja, Saint-Émilion, Minervois or Nashik can travel thousands of kilometres and find an audience in places one may never personally visit.

So, here’s a small toast to all readers of Wineglitz India—whether you are reading from India, France, Spain, the United States, Australia, South Africa, Japan, or anywhere else in the world.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
And to WordPress: challenge accepted. Let’s see how many countries we can add to the map next.
Cheers !!
Congratulations
Thankyou
