Pursuing Passions

What will your life be like in three years?

Having retired last year I’m now a proud veteran and we are now well settled into the new phase of life. I foresee the life after three years as one where we continue to pursue our passions and interests mainly travel, art, wines and real estate.

Travel

Having served in a transferable post, I have been lucky to have worked at various cities throughout the country.

Falkirk Palace

We utilised this to travel extensively in and around our place of posting, thereby covered most of tourist places in India and now we are focussed on foreign travel. After three years, we plan to visit a number of foreign destinations as tourists.

Kelpies, Scotland

Wines and Spirits

Wines as a passion may sound odd, but we enjoy the wonderful social aspect of the world of wines which means attending wine events and parties, wine tourism, visit to vineyards etc.

Wine Masterclass

After three years we should be visiting international wine regions.

Meeting Relatives and Friends

Well yes, this also. Again, having been busy with work and been posted at far away areas, we have missed out on keeping a regular touch with friends and relatives. Now is the time to catch up on that.

Catch up with relatives

After three years, we would be taking out time to meet old friends and relations both in India and abroad.

Uncle, Aunt, Cousins

Art and Culture

As per a theory, the purpose of technology is to make humans less busy so that they can devote more time to the art. Unfortunately it is the opposite of that which has happened in today’s fast pace life.

After three years we see ourselves immersing more into the world of art and culture.

Royal Opera House , London

Real Estate

I also pursue my passion for real estate. After three years I foresee myself immersed in pursuit of amazing properties both in India and overseas.

Home is where heart is

So that’s about us, how we see our lives after three years. Hope you liked it. Now let me read what all of you and others have written about the same. Cheers !!

My wine journey started in 2013 and I soon earned my WSET certifications in quick succession. At same time I started with writing on wines on my blog page and also got opportunities to write for renowned wine magazines in India. I’ve also written a couple of research papers on Indian wine industry. Presently I’m also tenanting the position of the President Delhi Wine Club. I’m on panel of Judges in International Wine Challenge (London) and Michelangelo Wine and Spirits Awards (South Africa). I believe in the tagline : Wine Connects.
