No friend as loyal as a book

What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

My answer is : BOOKS

The answer to today’s prompt came quite instinctively to my mind – surely books have been with me always and proverbially speaking, it has the books that have carried me and seen me through all the ups and downs of life. And books have also fuelled my interest at various stages of life, including my current passion for wines.

To quote from my own blogpost As my wine passion grew so did my thirst for knowledge and I did some of best wine courses available in the country. But the one thing that really fueled my passion for wines has been the books on wine which I read.

I have penned down as to how books fuelled my passion for wines and the post is shared as I below. Do read and share your comments.

My wine journey started in 2013 and I soon earned my WSET certifications in quick succession. At same time I started with writing on wines on my blog page and also got opportunities to write for renowned wine magazines in India. I’ve also written a couple of research papers on Indian wine industry. Presently I’m also tenanting the position of the President Delhi Wine Club. I’m on panel of Judges in International Wine Challenge (London) and Michelangelo Wine and Spirits Awards (South Africa). I believe in the tagline : Wine Connects.

  1. Hey I totally agree about the book part. books are essential to have throughout life. Without books and music there’s no possible way I personally could endure viable existence here on earth. I heard there’s a French expression that goes simply like “without literature, life is hell” enough said.

  2. Maybe you like ‘Chopper Bikes and Bell-Bottoms’ and a good glass of Merlot or German red 🍷 wine. Book available on Amazon.

      1. Yes! Available on Amazon India. Another English book is ‘Journey into Disaster’ It took place in the Philippines. A German has been arrested there …
