I had a wonderful opportunity to attend the official inauguration of Embassy of Moldova in India, where I also got to savour some nice Wines of Moldova.
The official inauguration of Embassy of Moldova in India happened on 15th Dec 2024 at Delhi’s Taj Mahal Hotel in a ceremony graced by India’s External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr S Jaishankar, Vice Prime Minister of Moldova HE Mihai Popsoi amongst other dignitaries and guests.
The Ambassador of Moldova to India, Her Excellency Ana Taban gave an overview of the planning and hard work done over past many months to ensure the establishment of the new Embassy in the capital of India.
India’s EAM in his address also spoke about the furthering of mutual partnership between the two nations.
In his speech, the Vice President of Moldova expressed satisfaction on the successful inauguration of the Embassy and as to how this would help in building mutual relations between the two countries.
In the closing remarks, HE Ana Taban the Ambassador of Moldova thanked all the dignitaries. She also made a mention about the Wines of Moldova being served in the evening and encouraged the guests to savour the same.
The event continued with the guests interacting with each other over some wonderful wines from Moldova along with delectable snacks. This was followed by dinner which also had a scrumptious fare with all the dishes offering a good pair with the Moldovan wines.
